Book 5

City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare. I loved the 5th installment of the Mortal Instruments! It was gripping and compelling. It flooded me with emotions for all the characters, happy and sad, while taking me on a rollercoaster surprise!

Book 4

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare.

This is a book from the Mortal Instruments series. I had read the original three when they first came out, then I grabbed this, the fourth book, and couldn't finish it. I had a lot going on in my life and I hate starting and stopping on a book, so I never finished. Recently, I picked it up again and started from the beginning. It was a good book, but not up to par with the original three. I am hopeful the next in the series gets back on track, however the cliffhanger from this book did not seem like it.

Book 3

Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan.

This is the final book in the Heroes of Olympus series, and as to be expected it was fantastic. Rick Riordan is a master with words and everything he writes is pure gold.

The book wraps up the storyline so beautifully. You can't help but cheer on the heroes during their journey. You weep with them during times of struggles and loss and celebrate times of joy.

Book 2

Wedding Haters (An Event to Remember novel) by Melissa Baldwin

This was the sequel to An Event to Remember...or Forget. Again it was just poorly written.

The main character (different from the first book) again was totally unrelatable, as were her interactions with the supporting characters.

The editing was terrible again. 5/10 stars

Book 1

An Event to Remember...or Forget by Melissa Baldwin

I grabbed this book after snagging a deal for the second book. I don't like reading books out of order, even if they can technically stand alone.

The book had it's challenges. Aside from being poorly edited, the author jumped around quite a bit. The main character was not really relatable, her supporting characters were way too intense, and the whole story just seemed rushed and poorly put together.
